Top Petroleum Net Exporters, 2003

The following table ranks all countries whose net exports of oil in 2003 were at least 1 million barrels per day. In 2003, there were 12 countries whose net oil exports met or exceeded 1 million barrels per day. Please note that this table represents net exports, not total (or gross) oil exports. Net exports is defined as the difference between total oil production (supply) and total oil consumption (demand). Also, the 2003 oil consumption numbers used here are estimates. The 2003 production numbers are EIA estimates made for our International Petroleum Monthly.
