- Preliminary data indicate production in the U.S. actually fell during 1998 by 35 MB/D, which helped to counter the potential stock building effects of falling demand.
- Production from both gas processing plants and refineries was down. The production reported by refiners is net production, and with low prices, they probably were burning the propane internally for fuel.
