Monthly Natural Gas Production Data  (6/30/2008)
Monthly natural gas gross withdrawals estimated from data collected on the new Form EIA-914 (Monthly Natural Gas Production Report). Contains estimated monthly natural gas gross withdrawals for Federal Offshore Gulf of Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming, Other States (excluding Alaska) and Lower 48 States.
Distribution of Natural Gas: The Final Step in the Transmission Process  (6/27/2008)
This special report analyzes the role of local distribution companies (LDCs) and transmission pipelines in delivering natural gas supplies to end-use customers, focusing upon the years 1996 through 2006. It also examines the changing dynamics of natural gas end-use markets, especially the trend toward large-volume users such as electric power generation plants and large industrial users receiving greater portions of their supplies from mainline natural gas transmission pipeline companies rather than the traditional LDC.
Natural Gas Annual Product -- Release of natural gas summary statistics in new format  (1/29/2008)
The EIA released historical data series for natural gas supply and disposition data at the National and State level in an Excel format for the first time. These data are presented in the Natural Gas Annual. The new product provides customers with comprehensive time series summary statistics, and is presented for most series from the 1930's to 2006, with production data from the 1900's. Until this release, the full data series was available only in an HTML format, with the last 5 years available in PDF and CSV formats.
Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report Notice  (9/27/2007)
Note: The Energy Information Administration (EIA) will transition to a new Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report (WNGSR) on November 1, 2007. The three areas of change are the design, release procedure, and new Web address. All customers of the WNGSR are encouraged to review the sample Web site to familiarize themselves with the revised contents. Additionally, EIA urges customers to participate in the release tests and give us your feedback. Additional details are available at http://www.eia.doe.gov/oil_gas/natural_gas/ngs_notice.html.
