| The former country named the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, listed here as Former Yugoslavia, dissolved during 1991 and 1992 into five successor countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro (now listed here as Former Serbia and Montenegro), and Slovenia. Subsequently, Montenegro formally declared independence from Serbia on June 3, 2006. Data for Former Yugoslavia are reported for 1980-1991. | ||
