Tour 1: American & Canadian Falls
Sunday, June 18, 2:00 pm 7:00 pm $27.00
Entering Canada, Queen Victoria Park beckons you along her flower-lined streets to the brink of the Falls. Time on your own for pictures, souvenir shopping, or refreshments. Enjoy the carnival atmosphere of Clifton Hill before driving north along the Niagara Gorge viewing Sir Henry Oaks Gardens, the Spanish Aero Car, the Niagara Whirlpool, the School of Horticulture, and the world famous Floral Clock.
Return to the United States via a different International Bridge and travel south along the Niagara Gorge. Visit the Niagara Power Project and the sire of the Devils Hole massacre. In contrast to Canada, the American Falls offers a quiet, peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Cross over the Upper Rapids onto Goat Island where the roaring Niagara River divides to form the American and Canadian Falls. For an "up close and personal" experience of this majestic wonder of nature, take a short walk to the Falls at Terrapin Point, Luna Island, and Bridal Veil Falls.
Sunday, June 18, 2:00 pm 7:00 pm $30.00
Into Canada with a scenic drive along the Niagara Gorge through some of Canadas most celebrated grape and wine regions. At each winery stop a tour will give the history and background of their wine growing and bottling methods. Wine tasting will allow you to make your own decision on the end product. You will be able to purchase anything that meets your fancy but because you are in Canada less that 48 hours you will have to pay duty and tax on any alcohol over 4 oz that you bring back. If time allows there will be a short tour through the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake for some background on this historical site.
