World Energy Database No Longer Available
We regret to inform you that the World Energy Database is no longer available. We are in the process of creating a new database system for producing our electronic publication, the International Energy Annual, and we were not able to incorporate the features of the World Energy Database in the new system.

Much, but not all, of the data that were available in the World Energy Database are now available in Excel spreadsheet format from the recently released International Energy Annual 2002 that is available at: http://www/eia.doe.gov/iea.

Also available are individual country balances in HTML format for the most recent year with complete data at: http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/world/country/countrybal.html.
