Onsite Electricity Generation : The process of producing electrical energy by the transformation of other forms of energy, within the boundaries of the manufacturing establishment.  "Onsite Generation" includes cogeneration, generation from renewable resources, and conventional generation from combustible energy sources, such as fuel oils and diesel fuels.
