    (a) Value of Shipments and Receipts and Employment Size categories were supplied by the
Bureau of the Census.
    (b) 'Cogeneration' is the production of electrical energy and another form of
useful energy, such as heat or steam, through the sequential use of energy.
Cogeneration includes electricity generated from fossil fuels, such as natural gas,
fuel oils, and coal; wood; and other biomass.
    (c) 'Renewable Energy' is energy obtained from essentially inexhaustible sources.
Noncombustible sources include solar power, wind power, hydropower, and
geothermal power.
    (d) 'Other' is that electricity obtained from a generator fueled by
combustible energy sources, such as diesel fuels and other fuel oils.
    NF=No applicable RSE row/column factor.
    * Estimate less than 0.5.
    W=Withheld to avoid disclosing data for individual establishments.
    Q=Withheld because Relative Standard Error is greater than 50 percent.
    NA=Not available.
    Notes:  To obtain the RSE percentage for any table cell, multiply the cell's
corresponding RSE column and RSE row factors.   Totals may not equal sum of
components because of independent rounding.
