"I worked at the U.S Census Bureau for more than 25 years with primary responsibilities for collecting, processing, and disseminating data regarding the finances and employment of federal, state and local government.  I chose to transfer to EIA for a variety of reasons including the relevance of our mission to provide policy neutral energy information.  I was attracted by the agency’s great location on the Mall and access to public transportation.  EIA faces many challenges in terms of recruitment, retention, knowledge transfer, and standardization of data collection procedures. I felt confident that my Census Bureau experiences would enable me to make a difference at EIA.  I look forward tackling these issues and working with many of the EIA staff in the years to come."
