Presents the average retail electricity price in nominal dollars and real dollars (real dollars means that prices are adjusted for inflation) for 1960 through 1999. National average prices (nominal dollars) have increased from slightly less than 2 cents per kilowatthour in 1960 to 6.66 cents per kilowatthour in 1999.
