This line graph shows the generating capability owned by utilities and nonutilities in the six New England States from 1988 to 1999. In 1997, utility capability was 21,281 megawatts, and nonutility capability was 4,809 megawatts. By 1999, utility capability was 8,304 megawatts and nonutility capability was 18,358 megawatts.
